Lab Technician [Entry Level] (Metallurgical Lab, shift hours)

Location: Seletar
Working hours: Mon to Fri (5 days)
Morning shift 8:45 am to 5:30 pm ($40 shift allowance)
Afternoon shift 4:30 pm to 1:15 am ($40 shift allowance + $30 transport allowance)
Basic salary: Up to $2200 + allowances --> Gross salary can be up to $3000

Responsibilities

1. Conduct analytical tests, including wet chemistry testing, reagent preparation, and sampling.
2. Perform metallurgical testing, such as material preparation (mounting, cutting, grinding, polishing) and microstructure analysis in line with approved methods or customer requirements.
3. Verify the accuracy of test results and calculations before submitting them to the Chemist/Supervisor.
4. Participate in client and ISO audits as needed, ensuring all documents are prepared and audit-ready.
5. Other ad hoc duties assigned.

• Diploma in Chemistry or related field.
