Lab Technician cum Academic

Lab Technician cum Academic Executive needed!

Location: Holland Village Campus

Salary range: S$2200 - S$2800 (commensurate with experience)

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am to 6pm

Responsibilities:

• Render technical support for the laboratories and assist Teachers in the day-to-day running of the science laboratories
• Plan monthly lab schedule for all laboratory lessons
• Prepare monthly lab reports
• Set up, trial, and demonstrate all experiments
• Maintain a monthly inventory list and conduct stock taking for equipment, chemicals, and lab coats
• Purchase chemicals and apparatus
• Prepare teaching materials for new intakes
• Purchase academic resources like books, stationery, and teachers' resources
• Oversee textbook collection by students or parents
• Ensure new teachers have their teaching resources during induction
• Take care of the well-being of students
• Assist the Academic department in documentation such as arranging relief teachers, sending memos/circulars to teachers, preparing teaching materials, and exam materials
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

• Relevant working experience in a school lab environment preferred
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player
