Lab Supervisor, Quality Control

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage QC laboratory technicians and ensure all technicians working in QC lab are competent on quality and safety requirements through on-job and refresher trainings.
2. Ensure quality and safety procedures are reviewed and updated in compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards.
3. Involve in instrument troubleshooting, investigate root cause of QC lab instrument abnormality and provide corrective and improvement actions (CAPA).
4. Maintain LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and support in system enhancements.
5. Coordinate and collaborate with all relevant personnel to resolve any quality and safety related issues in QC lab.
6. Implement Customer Specific Requirement (CSR) related to QC laboratory.
7. Support Management of Change (MOC) for any planned changes in QC laboratory that impact quality and safety.
8. Responsible for purchases to support laboratory operation and improvements.
9. Handle installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, calibration and verification of analytical instruments and systems (Viscometer, GPC, GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF Titrators, etc.).
10. Review and upkeep of Risk Assessment, Work Instructions, and related QC laboratory documents and record.
11. Involve in both internal and external audits related to quality and safety. Perform auditing on periodic basis (system, process and product audits).

Requirements:

1. Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
2. At least 5 years of working experience in Quality related functions such as Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
3. Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar Quality systems with experience in Quality audits.
4. Good leadership skills
