KYC Specialist (6 Months Contract, Banking, SSW & FCCM)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform client data reconciliations to ensure accuracy & completeness within internal database.
• Perform remediation/on-boarding and/or periodic KYC reviews for our client.
• Ensure the timely updates and the accuracy of the KYC clients list on a monthly basis with the relevant stakeholders.
• Assist the Compliance Managers in the preparation of MI reporting to head office and senior management.
• Ensure timely review/discounting of alerts in SafeWatch (SSW) and Financial Crime Compliance Management (FCCM) system.
• Ensure all RFI requests are duly and promptly provided to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the timely closure of all alerts (both SSW and FCCM).
• Refer alerts (both SSW and FCCM) with suspicious elements/red flags to the Compliance Managers for further review and investigation.
• At the close of each working day, ensure all SSW alerts are cleared/released and liaise with other relevant internal stakeholders for transactions that are pending SSW filtering and clearance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Conduct alignment calls with Relationship Managers where required.
• Construct KYC files with the required information and documentation in accordance with the policy.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent.
• 1 - 3 years of working experience in investment/corporate banking.
• Working experience in consulting/service provider environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge in AML/KYC due diligence.
