KYC Analyst

Job Title: KYC Analyst

Job Duration: 6 months contract with a possibility to extend!

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely, complete, and accurate processing of account openings for individual and corporate clients.
• Conduct thorough reviews of account opening documents and KYC information.
• Provide expert advice to Client Advisors on complex account structures.
• Perform name searches using bank-approved search engines.
• Liaise with KYC/AML teams and the COO office for account setup.
• Monitor document deficiencies in accordance with bank control procedures.
• Train Front Office staff on legal documents and KYC-related subjects.
• Escalate operational, regulatory, and other risks to management as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of global KYC/AML standards and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Banking, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in operations, account documentation, and risk management within the banking or financial industry.
• Strong knowledge of KYC procedures and AML regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
