Reponsibilities :
• Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items
• Preparing high-quality meals according to recipes
• Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards
• Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed
• Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed on time
• Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed
• Budgeting costs while planning a menu.
• Checking inventory and stocks and ordering supplies
• Making adjustments to the menu based on feedback and seasonal trends
• Monitoring the quality of equipment and tools
• Overseeing the kitchen and making sure that all staff are following health and safety procedures
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
