Key Account Manager (Shipping/Liner) - Central / $8k

Job Description:

1. Act as the Global Account Manager for 2-3 corporate clients, ensuring growth and support from key customers.
2. Develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key global customers to drive growth through sustainable solutions.
3. Identify and pursue opportunities, converting leads into sales through effective development plans.
4. Serve as the primary contact for key customers and internal teams.
5. Stay informed about customers’ strategies and development plans to align our services with their needs.
6. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently and respectfully.
7. Measure, track, and analyze key account metrics.
8. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market, global product offerings, and competitors to devise effective marketing strategies.
9. Manage revenue and contract negotiations, including tender processes.
10. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a relevant field.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the shipping industry.
3. Experience in key account management.
4. Knowledge of containerized shipping.
5. Ability to manage and develop relationships independently.
6. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
9. Independent and results-oriented.
10. Self-motivated and self-directed.
