Key Account Manager - Regional Exp| Logistics Industry (Farmer role)

Responsibilities:

1. Account development and growth responsibilities across the region, including strategy mapping, account penetration, CRM, and business enhancement projects.
2. In collaboration with the VMM, GAM, and local P&Ls, accountable for forming and maintaining the leadership of a functional account management team in every country and location.
3. Coordination of regional activities in the yearly KAM budget and development planning process.
4. Gathering information to provide a clear orientation of the customer's value chain within the region.
5. Identification, detailing and evaluation of business opportunities in the region.
6. Respond to complex and sensitive logistics issues and questions; create innovative and profitable solutions in tandem with specialist departments.
7. Involvement in pre-RFQ process.
8. Assist in the provision of a schedule of forthcoming tenders.
9. Act as regional case owner for contract issues as defined in the SOP.
10. Assist postmortem analysis for all tenders (won, lost).
11. Support the implementation of new business won.
12. Arrange & participate in Business Reviews with the customer and regional and country operations and business leaders.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Degree in Business Administration or equivalent field.
2. At least 8 - 12 years' experience in the logistics industry or in a sales environment with prior experience in Consumer & Retail sector.
3. Knowledge and understanding of international logistics operations across multiple modes.
4. Project management experience preferable.
5. Excellent financial and process analytical skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a customer driven deadline environment.
