Job description

Your Role:

  • Managing and supporting assigned accounts to achieve sales, profitability, inventory, and accounts receivable targets, as well as negotiating contract renewals.
  • Building and maintaining close working relationships with assigned accounts to understand operations and business needs.
  • Creating an account plan for each key account for 2 years, translating budgeted targets into specific strategies and actions as part of the operational plan of the sales group.
  • Creating and implementing actionable programs with key accounts to improve performance. Conducting quarterly and yearly business reviews with assigned customers to enhance performance and develop Philips business.
  • Delivering and monitoring customer’s annual business plans and monthly sales and inventory reports.
  • Managing the Sales & Operations process, forecast accuracy, pricing, order management, stock management, optimizing trade spend, and improving net profit.
  • Undertaking regular field visits to monitor stocks, displays, build positive relationships at the store level, and observe consumer/shopper purchase patterns.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to execute marketing campaigns and initiate monthly promotions to achieve targets.

You're likely the right fit if you possess:

  • A Diploma or higher tertiary education qualification.
  • 3+ years of key account management experience in the consumer products or related industry.
  • Experience in managing retailers, distributors, and dealers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
  • Independence with the ability to build strategic partnerships with customers at all levels.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
