Summary:
As the Key Account Manager, you will lead our VIP desk for the LATAM department, managing a portfolio of global accounts and key forwarders. You will be responsible for achieving the annual budget in terms of volume and yield. You will engage with various stakeholders to enhance the customer experience with CMA CGM and increase the share of wallet for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a robust plan to achieve the annual target in TEU and Yield in USD, in collaboration with the Asia Regional Office Latin America trade team.
  2. Manage tender processes and negotiations with global accounts at various stages.
  3. Act as the primary contact for CMA CGM, identifying customer needs and opportunities.
  4. Cultivate strong business relationships with clients.
  5. Drive and measure performance regularly, both internally and towards customers.
  6. Collaborate closely with the trade team to build a long-term strategy and deliver the best customer experience.
  7. Communicate commercial directions to the Asian network, maximizing market share through effective push and pull strategies. Joint visits with local teams if necessary.
  8. Promote and sell new products and services to customers.
  9. Reduce Account Receivables.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry including customer management.
  3. Preferably with customer-facing experience.
  4. Good knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry.
  5. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel (vlookup and pivot tables) and PowerPoint.

This role is open for local employment only.
