Key Account Manager (Cargo Space) - Central / $8k

Job Description:

• Act as the Global Account Manager for 2-3 corporate clients, ensuring growth and support from key customers.
• Develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key global customers to drive growth through sustainable solutions.
• Identify and pursue opportunities, converting leads into sales through effective development plans.
• Serve as the primary contact for key customers and internal teams.
• Stay informed about customers’ strategies and development plans to align our services with their needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently and respectfully.
• Measure, track, and analyze key account metrics.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market, global product offerings, and competitors to devise effective marketing strategies.
• Manage revenue and contract negotiations, including tender processes.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the shipping industry.
• Experience in key account management.
• Knowledge of containerized shipping.
• Ability to manage and develop relationships independently.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Independent and results-oriented.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
