Key Account Manager (based in Singapore)

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key clients in health and beauty channels. This role requires experience in the FMCG industry and involves ensuring client satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with various departments to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:
    • Maintain and develop relationships with existing key customers.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
  2. Sales and Business Development:
    • Achieve sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts.
    • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
    • Support in the development and execution of sales strategies and plans.
  3. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Monitor account performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
    • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts.
    • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  4. Coordination and Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth operations.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement promotional activities and campaigns.
    • Plan monthly forecasts and arrange monthly shipments with SCM.
  5. A&P Management:
    • Plan and allocate total yearly BTL budget to individual key customers.
    • Keep track of spending to ensure it is within budget.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in key account management (e.g., Guardian, Watson).
  • FMCG background.
  • Effectively communicate, interact, and work collaboratively with peers, customers, and regional colleagues.
  • Experience in effectively managing projects and deadlines.
  • Successful track record of projects with Key Accounts.
  • Key account knowledge & skills.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Based in Singapore and must hold Permanent Residency in Singapore.
