Key Account Manager
Job description
Role Purpose:
- Hunt for new opportunities
- Close new deals
Key Responsibilities:
Leads follow-up and generate new opportunities
- Active management of an outbound leads database, responsible for reaching out to accounts or segment assigned.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails.
- Responsible for managing funnel of new leads from marketing or enquiries.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Pitching and winning new business, using a variety of warm and cold leads techniques.
- Ensuring all information is accurately noted and registered while maintaining a conversation with a possible client and logged into CRM.
- Able to engage, demo and present effectively virtually.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and handle difficult objections.
Sales and Client Management
- Develop new opportunities with current clients and continuous cross-selling activities.
- Drive opportunities to closure.
- Prepare quotations, agreements and billing.
Sales Management and Operations
- Manage the pipeline using the sales methodology, practice and tools determined by management.
- Consistent update of Client information, activities, updates and other information as required using the prescribed tools.
- Update and submit sales forecast, pipeline, reports and other reporting as needed per organization requirements.
Qualification, Competencies/ Other Requirements:
- Preferably 1-2 years inside sales experience with a SAAS solution.
- Track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience with using CRM application.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management and other relevant degree with at least one year of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in MS Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English.
- The candidate should be outgoing and enjoy engaging with people.
- Able to work independently as well as a strong team player, positive, self-driven, organized and meticulous.
- Able to work efficiently while multitasking and cope well under pressure.
- Preferably with experience in using CRM application.
