Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee and expand our relationships within the automotive aftermarket sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of automotive parts, accessories, and service solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management & Growth: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including distributors, retailers, and service providers within the automotive aftermarket industry.
  2. Sales & Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand product offerings and increase sales volume within existing accounts while seeking out new business opportunities.
  3. Strategic Planning: Create and implement account plans that align with business objectives, focusing on customer retention, revenue growth, and market share expansion.
  4. Customer Support & Satisfaction: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  5. Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and alignment of customer needs.
  7. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and track performance metrics to support business planning and decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the automotive aftermarket industry.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts, accessories, and service solutions.
  3. Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to drive sales, negotiate contracts, and close deals with major accounts.
  4. Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  5. Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze market trends, identify challenges, and develop effective solutions.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
