Responsibilities:

  1. Manage sizable key accounts (global or regional), develop annual key account plans with account strategies and goals.
  2. Lead and provide guidance to a small team of account managers in commercial activities to achieve annual growth goals in designated markets.
  3. Negotiate new contracts or changes to existing contracts.
  4. Drive growth from local contract customers and distributors to achieve commercial growth goals.
  5. Hunt for new customers and develop a commercial approach to enlist them into our portfolio.
  6. Develop and manage sales contracts and distributor agreements/distributors KPIs in a disciplined way.
  7. Collect and analyze market intelligence info and provide timely business intelligence inputs to the regional and global team.
  8. Ensure local regulatory and stewardship compliance to maintain the right to operate the business.
  9. Effectively use all sales tools such as SFDC, Sirion contract database, OMP demand forecast planning, etc.
  10. Always look for opportunities to mix/enrich the portfolio and improve profitability.
  11. Drive timely collection of accounts receivables to meet the business's cash goals.

Qualifications:

  • BS or above, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 10 years of business/commercial experience in a relevant B2B industry, experience with TiO2 or coatings/plastics industries is a plus.
  • Experience of aggressively growing a portfolio in a profitable way in past jobs is a plus.
  • Think strategically and act fast, articulate and translate customer needs into actionable plans to drive business results.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels to create win-win for both Chemours and customers.
  • Ability to execute and manage ambiguity in a dynamic business environment. A collaborative team player.
  • Good command of oral and written English and Mandarin.
