Kafka Cloud Native Developer

Project description

We are looking for a talented Cloud Native Developer proficient with building microservices on the back of Pivotal Cloud Foundry. The person would be a part of an experienced and established team working on a major rebuild of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop software components with Microservices-based Architecture.
• Subject matter expert in Cloud Native, Agile, DevOps and CI/CD to all levels of management and project teams.
• Develop and deliver Cloud Native Application Development.
• Participate and contribute actively in cloud native development and standards.
• Document requirements, codes and prepare reports in the software development lifecycle.

SKILLS

Must have

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5-7 years of working experience in full-stack software development
• Strong technical hands-on experience in Java 11+/Microservices apps with frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, Spring security, J2EE, JDBC, JMS, JMX, JUnit, GitLab, Mockito & WireMock, Rabbit MQ/Kafka messaging and Spring Cloud Stream framework
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Native principles and techniques such as Microservices-based architecture/development, RESTful API development, container-based software deployment, Test Driven Development, strong unit and integration testing skills, Spring Boot
• Well-versed in software system engineering principles and technologies (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, Pair Programming)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Possess critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present clearly both verbally and in written form, independent, motivated, reliable and organized
• A team player with strong communication skills in English

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Self-starter who can work independently
