Junior Sous Chef

Junior Sous Chef Position - Assisting head chef to run the kitchen smoothly.

1. Familiar with French cuisine techniques and basic pastry skills.
2. Leads kitchen team in chef's absence.
3. Oversees and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients.
4. Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
5. Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards.
6. Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities.
7. Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed.
8. Assists head chef with menu creation.
9. Coordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing.
