Prepare tender costings, including bills of quantities, based on tender documents and drawings, while estimating the required materials and labor
Evaluate and negotiate tenders from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal terms
Collaborate with the project team to ensure that all client requirements are met
Manage and monitor all project stages to stay within the predetermined budget and control expenses
Conduct monthly valuations of work in progress and forecast final costs
Review and approve subcontractor tenders and contracts from a commercial perspective
Certify subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts
Track and analyze all commercial information related to the project, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, to ensure adherence to the budget
Provide all necessary information to Managers or Directors for periodic reviews at designated intervals
Requirements:
Min 2 years of relevant working experience
Experienced in either Tender QS (securing projects through competitive bidding and cost estimation) or Project QS (manages the financial aspects and cost control of the project during its execution)
