Job Summary:

The Virtual Assistant - Compensation and Benefits will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of employee compensation, benefits programs, payroll administration, and related HR functions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the administration of employee compensation programs, ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance with local laws.
  2. Handle payroll processing tasks including data entry, review of timecards, and coordination with payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  3. Administer benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  4. Maintain and update employee records related to compensation and benefits in HR databases.
  5. Address employee inquiries about pay, benefits, and other compensation-related matters.
  6. Assist with compensation surveys and benchmarking efforts to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  8. Generate reports and analyses related to payroll, benefits, and other compensation metrics.
  9. Support HR leadership in developing and revising compensation policies and structures.
  10. Help in drafting and updating benefits communications and program documentation.
  11. Liaise with external vendors and service providers as needed for benefits administration.
  12. Other urgent ad-hoc tasks outside C&C when needed.
  13. Must demonstrate flexibility in handling a variety of tasks as needed.

Key Skills And Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or similar role, with specific experience in compensation and benefits administration.
  2. Strong understanding of payroll processes and benefits programs.
  3. Familiarity with HR software and databases.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  8. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with international or remote teams.
  2. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  3. Familiarity with payroll systems and benefits providers.
