Junior IT Infrastructure Engineer – Fund Transfer Company (Singapore)

We are a licensed money transfer company in Singapore seeking a motivated Junior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with up to 5 years of experience looking to build a solid career in financial technology infrastructure. You'll support critical IT systems and infrastructure while gaining exposure to high-security, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Active Directory (AD) Support – Assist in managing AD, including user provisioning, group policy updates, and access control.
2. Windows Server Administration – Support patching, basic server setup, and troubleshooting for production and test environment.
3. Linux System Support – Monitor and maintain Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, RHEL); perform basic scripting and routine admin tasks.
4. Network Support – Assist in VPN setup, basic routing, firewall rule requests, and network troubleshooting.
5. Firewall and Security Support (Fortinet) – Help monitor and maintain firewall configurations and logs.
6. Cloud Platform Operations (AWS or OCI) – Support cloud-based resources including VM provisioning, backups, and basic networking under guidance.

Requirements:

1. 3 to 5 years of hands-on IT infrastructure or sysadmin experience.
2. Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory management.
3. Working knowledge of Linux systems and basic scripting (Bash or Python).
4. Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewall basics.
5. Exposure to Fortinet firewalls or similar security appliances is a must.
6. Some experience with AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure preferred.
7. Willingness to learn, troubleshoot, and adapt in a regulated environment.
8. Good communication and team collaboration skills.
