Junior Finance Analyst

You will play a pivotal role in providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization. You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting future trends, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including but not limited to income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with department heads to analyze key data points for improvement & opportunities.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Reporting:

• Prepare and distribute financial reports for internal stakeholders, management, and external parties as required.

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in all reports.

• Provide insightful commentary on financial results and trends.

Financial Transactions:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Verify and reconcile invoices, statements, and payments with vendors and customers.

• Maintain records of financial transactions and update the general ledger.

• Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

• Undertake additional tasks or ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by Management.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and accounting standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
