About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Junior Barista to join our dynamic team and help create exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Junior Barista, you will play a key role in crafting high-quality beverages, from espresso-based drinks to specialty coffee creations, all while maintaining a friendly and efficient service. You will assist in keeping the coffee station organized, ensuring the café is clean, and contributing to a positive, welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members. In addition to preparing drinks, you will learn and grow alongside senior baristas, developing your skills in coffee artistry, customer service, and café operations. Job Summary:

As a Junior Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers in a fast-paced café environment. You will assist in preparing a variety of espresso-based drinks and specialty coffee beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. This role involves working closely with other baristas and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth operations, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the café is clean and well-organized. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a team, is eager to learn more about coffee, and has a passion for creating positive, memorable experiences for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, and other beverages according to customer preferences.
  2. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee station to ensure efficient workflow.
  3. Assist in setting up and closing down the café, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
  5. Ensure all drinks are prepared to meet the café's quality standards and are delivered in a timely manner.
  6. Support senior baristas and team members in day-to-day operations and learn new coffee preparation techniques.
  7. Maintain a positive, welcoming environment for customers and foster a friendly team atmosphere.
  8. Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
  9. Assist with inventory management and report low stock levels to management.
  10. Stay up to date with coffee trends and contribute to new ideas for improving the café experience.
