Junior Accountant

Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support the preparation of group financial statements, and ensure the accuracy of financial records. The role works closely with Group Accountants.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the financial accounts of multiple entities, both Singapore and overseas companies.

• Review and validate monthly financial reporting packages for entities within your portfolio, including full set of accounts, payroll, GST, journals, etc.

• Assist in preparation of group consolidation.

• Prepare and compile Notes for Audited Financial Statements.

• Review tax computations for Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and final tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

• Evaluate and review annual budgets for entities in your portfolio, covering Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capex, Investments, Payroll, and Sales.

• Conduct annual performance reviews for entities within your portfolio, determining variance bonus and increment percentages.

• Participate in special and ad-hoc projects when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification.

• At least 2 years of commercial or audit experience.

• Willingness to travel overseas for reviews and internal audits.

• Previous experience working with both Singapore-based and overseas companies is preferred.

• Strong understanding of Accounting and Taxation principles.

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and interpersonal skills; a proactive team player.

• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (required for liaising with Mandarin-speaking associates)
