Responsibility
Lead the signalling team to perform maintenance and support activities while meeting
and complying with safety, reliability, operational, and cybersecurity requirements.
Plan, organize, and ensure scheduled maintenance activities are carried out in
accordance with the planned maintenance schedule.
Oversee, guide, and lead the team in performing maintenance activities, fault diagnosis,
and rectification of the signalling system.
Ensure effective coordination and prompt response to failures, ensuring issues are
rectified within a reasonable time.
Review fault analysis and remedial work performed by technicians, ensuring accuracy,
effectiveness, and proper documentation.
Ensure the timely review, approval, and submission of maintenance work orders and
fault reports in compliance with documentation standards.
Participate in the administration of maintenance logistics to support the seamless
functioning of all maintenance activities.
Perform safety inspections and audits of the signalling and platform screen door
systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Monitor and enforce housekeeping standards and security protocols for equipment
rooms, workshops, and signalling maintenance offices at stations and depots.
Oversee the upkeep and regular updates of system documentation, including technical
drawings and manuals, to ensure alignment with operational needs.
Conduct in-house training sessions for new staff to ensure competency in maintenance
procedures and system operations.
Ensure the safeguarding of the signalling system's cybersecurity posture by
implementing and monitoring adherence to cybersecurity practices and policies.
Provide leadership and mentorship to technicians, ensuring adherence to procedures
and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
Drive company vehicles as needed for work-related tasks

Requirements:
Possess a Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering
from a recognized polytechnic. Those without diploma but with a minimum 5 years of
relevant experience will also be considered
Preferably minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience maintenance environment.
Experience in the field of Railway Signalling, as well as knowledge of networking and
configuring or troubleshooting operating systems, will be an advantage
At least 3 years of working experience in the field of Railway Signalling for non-diploma
holders
Good supervisory skill, strong in planning and organizing
Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Able to supervise and work as a team at all levels
A team player, result oriented and self-motivated
