• Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
• Interviews: The average number of interviews is 3 - varying with the level of seniority required for the position. You will meet your line manager and others related to your future role, discussing your experience and skills, as well as the position and expectations.
• Case study: We may ask you to take a test, such as a role play, technical assessment, or problem-solving scenario.

Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between microservices.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with best coding practices, security guidelines, and design patterns.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

ABOUT YOU

• Experience with Java development, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and its ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
• Academic background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• You have a problem-solving mindset and strong analytical skills.
