(Japanese speaking) Service Engineer (Packing Machine Manufacturer)

• Extensive travelling to SEA countries for business trips (Up to 3 weeks every month)
• Training will be provided in Japan (Must be willing to stay in Japan for 3 months to receive training)
• Salary: up to $5,000

Job Description:

A Japanese manufacturer is looking for a new Service Engineer to develop their overseas business. Great atmosphere to learn not only professional skills and knowledge for engineering but also learning about Japanese culture and proficiency in Japanese language.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing whole engineering services and solutions (setup new machines, maintenances, after-sales service, and trainings how to operate their machines) with their clients in southeast Asian countries (Malaysia, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka)
2. Making quotations for mechanical parts of their machines which requires wide knowledge of their products
3. Taking part in foreign exhibitions
4. Involving some of internal and oversea business trips in a month
5. Liaising with Japanese HQ and factories members for service review
6. Other duties if assigned

Job Requirements:

1. At least a Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechatronic / Factory Automation / Science) or equivalent background
2. Business level of English to communicate with global clients
3. Ability to explain their products in a comprehensive fashion
4. Integrity, curiosity, and self-motivated to become more knowledgeable for maintenance of the machines
5. Attentive to details and provide clients satisfaction
6. Responsibility as the candidate must have business travel alone
7. Good communication skills to establish good relationships with clients in southeast Asian countries
8. Starts with conversation level of Japanese, and also have passion for learning Japanese and Japanese culture (Will be going for trainings in Japan)
