Japanese Speaking Infrastructure Engineer [Includes Cloud/ Up to $8k]

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, design, execute, monitor, and control the various technical aspects of the Project.
2. Maintain both on-premises and cloud IT infrastructure, ensuring their smooth operation, addressing any abnormalities promptly.
3. Manage or participate in an existing setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
4. Implement and maintain cloud security measures, such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements for data structure, availability, scalability, and access.
6. Oversee the management of software licenses and intellectual property assets, ensuring suitability and compliance.
7. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Cloud Infrastructure.
2. Comprehensive understanding of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, network, security, data, backup, and applications.
3. Familiar with Cloud and IT infrastructure operations, including automation, scripting, tuning, and optimization.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
5. Fluency in Japanese Language is required to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
6. Pro-active, dynamic, and with good analytical/conceptual thinking.
7. Knowledge of cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, etc.).

[Advantage]

1. Knowledge in Windows server OS, Linux OS in a virtual environment would be an advantage.
2. Knowledge in VPN, firewall appliances would be an advantage.
3. Knowledge in network switches/routers would be an advantage.
4. Good to have: Certifications.
