Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager $10K (ID: 669275)

Our client, a well-known firm is currently looking for a Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting: Manage full accounts (GL, AR, AP), reconcile bank accounts, prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), and analyze performance.
2. Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST/VAT filings, corporate tax submissions, and ensure adherence to local tax laws and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
3. Payroll & Budgeting: Process payroll, manage statutory payments, assist in budgeting/forecasting, and monitor cash flow to optimize working capital.
4. Global Pooling: Handle global AP and AR-related transactions. Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal financial policies.
5. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop an accounting team, providing guidance and mentorship. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and controls.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
3. More than 3 years of experience as an accounting/finance lead responsible for accounting, auditing, and taxation in Singapore.
4. 5-10 years of experience in managing a full set of accounts.
5. Proven leadership experience in managing a finance team.
6. Japanese language proficiency to communicate with Japan HQ.
