JAPANESE Proficiency - IT System Development Project Manager & Delivery Lead

1. Job Description

1. Play as Project Manager (Project Management Office) or Delivery Lead on banking system development or implementation projects.
2. Manage the progress and milestones. Promote and control issues & ToDos. Organize progress reports and report to client management. Manage costs and human resources.
3. Communicate closely with clients, business & IT members. Organize teams and lead until project completion.
4. Manage client expectations to maintain a positive company image.

2. Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
2. IT Project Management knowledge and experience.
3. Must understand the overall software development life cycle.
4. 3 or more years of experience in IT-related project management or as a Delivery Lead (directly managing project development from beginning to end).
5. Project Management delivery tasks such as approach and plan definition, status tracking, issue and risk identification and resolution, resource planning, and governance execution.
6. Ability to understand and follow the process of banking system development or implementation projects.
7. Japanese & English language skills: Must read, write, and speak Japanese at a high level (native / JLPT N1 or higher) to engage with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders. Must speak English at a high level (business English) to communicate with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.
8. Banking operation or systems knowledge and experience (preferred).
9. Others: Cheerful with good communication skills, able to work cohesively with a high-spirited team. Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and effective in teams with diverse IT aptitudes and cultural backgrounds. Attention to detail and highly organized with a process-focused attitude. Good conceptualization and analytical skills, enabling comprehension and development of solutions for complex business issues. Ability to manage short, medium, and long-term planning horizons concurrently.
