IVD Assistant Manager, Medical industry | Technical Support | Up to 5.5k+AWS+VB

Working hours: Mon-Fri/ 9am-5.45pm

About the job

Candidate will be the technical product specialist for specific models of company products for Asia Pacific region as well as local market (Singapore Market). The candidate will function as 2nd or 3rd level technical support member in both Asia Pacific region and Singapore market. Candidate will be the primary technical trainer for the products of responsibility or as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Conducting training within Asia Pacific office or overseas for affiliates and business partners’ technical support team.
• Preparation/update of training materials and technical documents for assigned products.
• 2nd level/3rd level technical support in the Asia Pacific region and local market (Singapore).
• Able to support local (Singapore market) if needed.
• Guiding and mentoring new engineers.
• Be the key contact person for products of responsibility between company, its headquarter in Japan and OEM vendors on technical matters.
• Creating actions/ideas for continuous improvement of affiliates and business partners’ support team competencies.

Qualifications

• ITE or equivalent in Biomedical / Mechatronic / Electronics Engineering.
• 2-5 years working experience preferably in medical devices or IVD market.
• Have field service support experience locally and overseas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer focused.
• Competence in interactive communication, problem solving, and decision making are required with the ability to successfully handle customer issues and demonstrate the ability to develop and verbally describe in a logical manner.
• Maintains at all times the highest standards of professional and personal conduct when interacting with internal and external customers.
• Travel requirement: 20% or less.
• Customer focused.
