Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient technical support to internal employees and clients, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networks, servers, and end-user devices, offering hands-on support when necessary.
  • Assist in setting up new workstations, configuring email accounts, and ensuring proper access to network resources.
  • Manage and monitor IT inventory and assets, ensuring equipment is up-to-date and properly functioning.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to maintain security protocols, ensuring protection against unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and IT support procedures for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • NITEC or higher in Information Technology or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and common desktop software.
  • Proficient in managing multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues quickly.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and other cloud-based applications is a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools, staying updated on industry trends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
