IT SUPPORT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to MIS Manager for IT infrastructure setup, maintenance, and operations.
2. Programming proficiency in database management systems (e.g. MSSQL, Visual Basics 6.0 & Active Server Pages ASP).
3. Strong knowledge of information security protocols.
4. Experience in ERP systems for CRM support.
5. Handle IT project and system implementation which involves gathering information, designing, and planning. Conduct user acceptance tests and provide user training.
6. Manage and liaise with external system vendors related to the MIS department when necessary.
7. Provide advice and recommendations to management on proofs and techniques for improved work operations related to customized labels direct USB printing to Seagull Bartender Printer (no Crystal Report).
8. Handle basic hardware troubleshooting, system backup, and software support.
9. Assist the MIS Manager in any ad hoc activities related to the MIS department.
10. Ensure compliance with laws and codes pertaining to labor and ethics via annual training.
11. Knowledge in network protocol environment.

Education:

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related discipline.
• Equivalent qualifications or certifications in relevant IT/ERP systems support are also considered.
