Participate in design, planning, installation, and support of operating systems, applications, and services within the Process Control environment in an environment of over 1,000 endpoints.
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
Implementation of projects for security, process, and productivity improvements across the organisation.
Work with various groups to coordinate projects such as upgrades and remediations.
Assist in efforts to provide software delivery, patching, and automation of staging.
Support major initiatives for the client's IT to integrate more deeply with business processes.
Work with 3rd party vendors such as Microsoft to drive resolutions for issues.
Day-to-day management, administration, and support of all of the client's endpoints and backend management tools.
Participate in the design and architecture of the client's infrastructure and systems.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend purchase, development, or enhancement of hardware and software.
Monitor Endpoints performance and troubleshoot problem areas proactively and reactively as needed.
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation and asset inventory.
Assures knowledge transfer for new systems introduced and installed.
Coordinate with other members of the team for business continuity and disaster avoidance/recovery program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT.
2 to 4 years' experience in IT endpoint management, administration, and support.
Strong hands-on knowledge in the latest version of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft endpoint portal, and Microsoft 365, a must.
Possesses deep interest in IT Infrastructure-related technologies and trends.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Must be able to be an active team player.
Must be able to perform after-office hours work, if needed.
