IT Project Manager

Our Client:

Our client is a well-established Japanese company, specialising in IT Solutions and Service. They are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join their growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive project plans and drive project execution
2. Ensure strong cross functional teamwork and alignment to project goals and objectives
3. Effectively communicate project progress to stakeholders and provide regular updates on project metrics, risk and dependencies
4. Own and be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, meeting requirements and within allocated budget
5. Manage project lifecycle, from requirement, design, technical construction, testing, acceptance, training, documentation and implementation
6. Work closely with Project Lead/Owner or Sponsor to drive strategic or major initiatives as part of the organization’s roadmap and strategy
7. Monitor and track progress of projects and stay on top of the projects to ensure smooth execution
8. Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies

The Requirements:

1. Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent with min. 3 years of experience in IT Project Management in the financial industry and 3 years of experience in IT development (design, coding, test) (Must)
2. Experience in managing the entire software development practices, various development methodologies especially the waterfall model development and implementation
3. Strong delivery management experience, with proven track records in managing and steering projects towards smooth execution and on time delivery
4. Possess strong and assertive verbal, written communication and presentation skills
