We are looking for an IT Procurement Specialist (2 year contract) to join us!
A brief summary of your job responsibility:
- Manage and execute the procurement of ICT systems, goods and services in a timely manner. This includes the preparation of all procurement deliverables for each procurement project assigned;
- Be part of various project teams to complete the procurement project on time;
- Provide business perspective in project teams;
- Draft, review and refine structure of tenders, contractual terms, and requirement specifications for the procurement of the ICT systems, goods and services;
- Understand the government procurement policy and advise project teams on meeting such policies while enabling project needs to be met;
- Identify potential procurement risks and their implications to the project stakeholders, and propose mitigating measures to manage the risks;
- Review proposals from suppliers;
- Review, clarify and negotiate business rules with suppliers;
- Drive innovation on work processes;
- Monitor and track project expenses and timelines;
- Ensure that records and documentation of projects and related issues are kept updated;
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Familiarity with Government IM on Procurement;
- Minimum 8/10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in both procurement and IT, with a minimum of 3 years in a project management role. Experience in managing Cloud, SaaS, and/or AGILE projects will be beneficial;
- Good knowledge of government infocomm environment;
- Experience in Project Management for Monitoring and Tracking;
- Good knowledge of ICT procurement and contract management practices;
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels;
- Team player and self-motivated;
- Able to consolidate multiple streams of information into a cohesive whole;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
