IT Operations Executive - 12 hours shift role (Up to 4k/Central) (ID: 605554)

Job Responsibilities:

(A) Infrastructure Operations

1. Administer and manage Windows, Unix, and Linux servers.
2. Perform change management and release management tasks.
3. Proactively monitor systems and networks.
4. Set up and replace hardware components and servers.
5. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
6. Manage enterprise tape backups and oversee regular restoration testing of backup tapes.
7. Supervise computer operators or vendors for specific tasks.

(B) Infrastructure Support

1. Provide 1st to 1.5 level support responses.
2. Execute recovery and contingency procedures to resolve system issues.
3. Administer applications and middleware.
4. Offer application support to developers.
5. Coordinate and manage escalations.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in IT or a related field.
2. Familiarity with Unix or Linux environments.
3. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
4. Motivated and eager to tackle new challenges.
5. Knowledge in any of the following areas is a plus:
   • Red Hat Linux administration
   • Oracle Solaris administration
   • Oracle WebLogic administration
   • Windows server administration
   • Apache web server administration
   • Veritas NetBackup administration
