IT Onsite Engineer

Responsibilities:

• To provide IT hardware service and support on desktops and laptops for end users and corporate customers.
• Provide timely updates to customers on service appointments and service status until the closure of service incidents.
• Ensure proper parts handling and movement within the team during transit to customers.
• Support and troubleshoot, which includes diagnosis of hardware and software failures or problems.
• Install operating systems, firmware, and BIOS.
• Handle and manage end-users from end to end.
• Handle, resolve, and keep track of assigned cases through the ticketing system.
• Work closely with dispatchers, leads, and supervisors to ensure all jobs are completed and closed timely.
• Attend new product training via web-based training.

Requirements:

• At least possess GCE O levels.
• Possess basic hardware and software knowledge.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Enjoy working with people and prepared to take on new opportunities and experiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Good customer service mindset.
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to travel island-wide daily (roaming role); transport costs shall be reimbursed.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6.00pm)
