Job Description

Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Leadership

1. Develop and execute the IT roadmap aligned with the company’s game development goals and business objectives.
2. Lead IT infrastructure planning, ensuring scalability for current and future gaming projects.
3. Collaborate with executives, developers, and stakeholders to integrate IT solutions that enhance game production and operations.

Infrastructure & Security Management

1. Oversee network architecture, cloud solutions, and data center operations to support game development and live services.
2. Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect proprietary game assets and player data.
3. Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery strategies for all IT systems.

Game Development Support

1. Manage IT support for game development tools, engines, and CI/CD pipelines.
2. Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and live operations teams to optimize performance and deployment workflows.
3. Oversee asset management, version control, and IT resource allocation for game production.

Team & Vendor Management

1. Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
2. Negotiate and manage contracts with technology vendors, cloud providers, and external partners.
3. Stay ahead of emerging IT trends in gaming, implementing best practices and new technologies as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

1. 10+ years of IT management experience, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
2. Strong expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP), networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT systems.
3. Experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) and version control systems (Git, Perforce).
4. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or related field.
