IT Field Service Engineer (Maintenance Support/ Servers/Network for IBM/DELL/HP)

• Position: IT Field Service Engineer (Maintenance support/Servers/ Network/ Storage for-IBM/DELL/ HP)
• Location: Ubi Techpark
• Working hours: 5 days work week; Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Gross up to $5000 (Basic up to $4000 + OT) + AWS + Allowance for mobile phone; Education Subsidy if applicable + Group Medical Plan
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Information & Communications Technology (ICT)

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide post sales maintenance support on servers/storage (IBM/HP/DELL/SUN) and operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) at customer locations;
• Troubleshooting and replacement of hardware;
• Troubleshooting of operating system;
• Handling of hardware migration/implementation project;
• Perform preventive and proactive maintenance;
• Escalation and management of complex issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder or above in Computer Engineering/Science or related discipline;
• Possessed at least 3 years of experience in IT hardware maintenance service on server, network and storage preventive.
• Strong server and storage hardware configuration knowledge will be an advantage;
• Be a quick learner in acquiring new system skills and working with new technologies;
• Capable of using operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Unix, ESX, and Linux are preferable;
• Proficiency in solving computer hardware related issues for IBM, DELL, and HP;
• Able to provide nonoffice hours standby and support service.
