The IT Executive role is a newly created position to handle all ground-level IT tasks. This person will report to the IT Manager and the key tasks are as follows:
IT – SERVICE QUALITY
Assist the Manager in working closely with stakeholders in business process review and documentation to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, to ensure that IT policies, regulatory and compliance requirements are met
Provide IT support and maintenance of quality initiatives via appropriate tools. Maintenance and execution of periodic quality audit plans across the Home
Provide support in delivering quality service to customers via Service Excellence programmes
IT - DUTIES
Install, monitor and maintain the Home’s IT hardware, software, systems and networks
Ensure registration and licensing compliance for the Home’s IT system, electrical safety of equipment and use of licensed and compatible parts and consumables
Assist in all aspects of new system implementation, including but not limited to gathering of user’s requirements, change management, users’ training, data preparation, migration and post-implementation system support and reviews
Respond to breakdowns, investigate, diagnose, and analyse hardware, software and network faults and resolve technical and applications problems
Review IT support requirements, plan and undertake required maintenance and service upgrades
Monitor and report on any unauthorised use or access to the computer or network
Guide users on how to log into their computers and approved systems and attend to any difficulties that users may have in access
SKILLS
Strong technical knowledge of IT hardware, software and network systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Familiarity with IT compliance and regulatory standards.
Proven experience in providing IT support or working on IT projects.
Excellent communication and customer service skills for supporting end-users.
Ability to document processes and perform quality audits.
Basic project support skills, including change management and user training.
Security awareness and familiarity with access control protocols.
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience for degree holder or 5 years for diploma holder in IT support or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or similar regulated environment,
Assist in the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within established timelines.
Hands-on experience with system installations, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
Experience supporting system implementations and providing user training.
Knowledge of licensing and compliance for IT systems and software is preferred.
