IT Engineer (Office Automation)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled IT Engineer (OA) to join our team at United Microelectronics Corporation (Singapore Branch) in the Pasir Ris East Region. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our organisation's IT systems and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure smooth operation of the OA system, including administration of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Windows Active Directory, printing, and file sharing services.
2. Manage the OA helpdesk service, handle user requests, and supervise outsourced helpdesk engineers.
3. Enforce and ensure compliance with information security policies set by headquarters.
4. Oversee and manage the procurement of OA-related hardware and software.

Job Requirements

1. Possess at least a bachelor's degree in IT, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
2. No prior experience required; Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
3. Possess a positive and proactive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
4. Preferred knowledge or certification in any of the following:

- Windows server administration.
- VDI administration.
- OA helpdesk management.
- Lotus Notes administration.
