IT Engineer ( 1 Year Contract)

Essential Responsibilities

• Handle the IT service of infrastructure Security, Network, System, Storage, and Backup to ensure the reliability and efficiency of systems
• Areas of responsibility include network operations and security, server hardware, VM, Microsoft Windows servers, HP Unix, Linux server
• Track IT infrastructure operational metrics and be part of the team to manage and plan performance and capacity
• Monitor, manage, and mitigate risks of IT systems to security threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits of IT systems and processes to ensure compliance and uncover IT security risks
• Understanding monitoring technology, setting up, configuration, and alert triggering

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or its equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience with Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft AD, VMWare/Nutanix, including physical/virtual implementation and operation support
• Strong knowledge in security hardening on network, Windows operating systems, and SQL
• Certification in Office 365, Windows Server, CCNA, Security is a plus
• Good understanding of networking concepts including OSI model, TCP/IP
• Familiar with network technology, network routing, network address translation, network security such as firewall, and hardening
