IT Engineer

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure, and maintain company’s network systems, servers, and IT infrastructure.
• Oversea network performance and address issues related to hardware, software, or security.
• Provide technical support and assistance to internal staff and external partners.
• Safeguard the organization’s IT infrastructure by managing firewalls, antivirus software, and implementing security patches.
• Conduct routine data backups and implement recovery processes when needed.
• Collaborate closely with sales team to integrate IT systems for seamless operations.
• Coordinate with HQ IT team to provide technical expertise and troubleshoot operational challenges effectively.
• Manage software licenses and maintain accurate records of software installations.
• Keep precise records of IT systems, configurations, and inventory.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by HOD.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in IT support, network management or systems administration.
• Understanding of IT security practices and data protection regulations is advantageous.
• Experience in system migration will be considered an asset.

• Strong Problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Familiarity with employee lifecycle processes.
• Proficiency in mandarin (spoken and written) is beneficial due to the need for communication with HQ colleagues in China.
