IT Business Analyst Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Working with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and end users in the projects.

• Assist in the development and management of project schedules and resources, identify risks, define problem-solving strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.

• Leading cross-functional team meetings and driving outcomes towards project success.

• Assist in the translation of business needs into clear and comprehensive software requirements specifications.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements during the software development life cycle.

• Translate technical information into business language to ensure understanding by both business and technical audiences.

• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes or enhancements.

• Identifying and scheduling customer-facing meetings to assure effective completion of projects.

• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of project delivery.

• Assist in the tracking and reporting of projects.

• Contribute to the creation and updating of project documentation.

• Able to handle tasks with multiple deadlines and efficient in prioritizing tasks accordingly.

• Develop meeting minutes independently and follow up on action items.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 3 - 5 years of experience in IT Project Management and/or Business Analyst.

• Preferably with a valid PMP Certification.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in business process improvement and project management and implementation preferred.

• Relevant knowledge of financial or banking background will be advantageous.

• Understanding of different project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.

• Experience with data modeling and process mapping.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), process mapping, and analysis tools.

• SQL and Relational Databases: Understanding of database design (MySQL, MSSQL) with the ability to write SQL queries.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS

• Data Cleaning and Transformation: Ability to preprocess, clean, and transform raw data.

• Technical Documentation: Ability to comprehend and develop system user guides for technical and non-technical users.

• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with AWS for cloud-based projects.

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others to resolve problems.

• Able to work independently as well as an excellent team player.

• Ability to communicate information well to co-workers and management verbally and in writing.

• Good knowledge with hands-on experience in managing IT incidents and problems.

• Good analytical skills with the ability to quickly establish the cause of system issues reported.

• Experience in project management and vendor management.

• Experience in API & Middleware knowledge.

• Experience in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) principles.
