IT Business Analyst (Assistant Manager / Manager)

Responsibilities:

• Engages with business users to understand their needs, goals, and pain points

• Documents detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories

• Conducts interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive business needs and translate them into technical requirements

• Develops and maintains detailed process flows, wireframes, and mock-ups

• Creates and manages functional specifications and user acceptance criteria

• Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for both enhancement as well as business as usual operational support

• Ensures clear communication of requirements and constraints between the development team and business users

• Collaborates with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery of application features and functionality

• Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements and expectation and assist with troubleshooting and resolving any issues or defects found during testing

• Supports incident tickets and service request tickets raised by business users, and liaise with technical team for solution development

• Suggests process improvements and enhancements to optimize business operations and technology solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar

• Minimum 4 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within an IT application development environment

• Proven experience in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements

• Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and management skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Basic knowledge of programming/coding skills of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI will have added advantage
