IT Audit Senior Manager

As an IT Audit Senior Manager at Assurity, you will play a critical role in protecting our technological assets and ensuring robust governance practices are in place across various governmental organizations.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of IT audits across various government agencies.
• Develop, implement, and enhance audit methodologies, frameworks, and methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Direct the assessment of organizational risks, internal controls, and information security protocols to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage audit interactions, including the creation of reports for stakeholders, conducting fieldwork, and ensuring compliance with audit recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective mitigation strategies against identified risks.
• Mentor and guide audit team members, providing support in their professional development.
• Coordinate and manage outsourced audit functions to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and quality assurance.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in IT governance, risk management, and compliance, and proactively incorporate these into the audit strategy.
• Perform and oversee in-depth audits of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure, specifically focusing on compliance with national ICT policies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• At least 8 years of proven experience in IT auditing, governance, and risk management, with a solid understanding of IT frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of information security principles, risk assessment, and compliance standards.
• Experience with audit frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and ITIL.
• Proficiency in assessing ICT policies, including IM8 or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide strategic recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Recognized professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent certifications.
• A collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
