IT Application Analyst (Power Tools)

• Responsible for analysing business requirements and working with both business and technical teams to administer the application lifecycle which includes migration, analysis, design, implementation, and support for assigned application(s).
• Requires a strong understanding of software development processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Provide regional support for deployed software solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure that requests logged with the ticketing tool are resolved in a timely manner.
• Migrate legacy applications to new technology with global team alignment (Documentum, Lotus Notes app, SharePoint, etc.).
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Work independently to design, develop, and implement software automation solutions (e.g., Power Automate).
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents, functional specifications, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and ensure project success.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure software solutions meet business requirements.
• Participate in project planning and provide input on timelines, resources, and risks.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software development.
• Provide onsite and regional (India) helpdesk support (20%).

Requirements

• Minimally a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Software Development.
• Certification in one or more domains preferred: Project Management, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft M365 Suite.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in MS SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience in Document Management System, preferably in Documentum.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a plus.
