Job Title: IOT Engineer (ID1610)
Location: Pioneer, transport pick up Singapore and JB Bukit Indah
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am – 17:30pm
Salary: up to $4500

Job Description

1. Design and develop IoT systems, including hardware selection, software integration and scalability
2. Implement and optimize microcontrollers, sensors, and edge devices to ensure seamless hardware-software connectivity
3. Develop pipelines for data collection, processing, and secure transmission between IoT devices, machines and systems
4. Improve, manage and troubleshoot existing IoT systems to ensure performance, reliability, and uptime
5. Conduct testing and validation of IoT systems and components to ensure functionality and performance
6. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including software developers, maintenance engineers, hardware engineers, and data scientists
7. Gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into practical, business-oriented IoT solutions
8. Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as required by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility in dynamic work environments

Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
2. At least 1-2 years of experience in IoT function is preferred
3. Proficient in Python
4. Knowledge in IoT communication protocols (MQTT/ HTTP/ CoAP etc)
5. Experience in serial communication protocols (RS232/ RS422), sockets (TCP/IP)
6. Hands on experience in implementing microcontrollers, microprocessors and/or sensors (Arduino/ ESP32/ESP8266/ Raspberry Pi etc.)
7. Use of SQL and/or noSQL databases (Postgres/ Oracle/ MongoDB etc.)
8. Proficient in C/C++ programming
9. Knowledge in RTOS/embedded systems
10. Use of Cloud IoT frameworks (AWS IoT/ Google IoT Core/ Azure IoT Hub)
11. Understanding of security practices in IoT environments
12. Experience with Edge Machine Learning, Embedded ML, and/or TinyML
13. Ability to research and apply new technology
