Investment Operations Executive

As an Investment Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations in the investment portfolios and funds managed by the Company. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including trade placement and/or execution, cash management, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trade Placement/Execution:
   • Place and/or execute trades in equities and/or fixed income instruments and ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
   • Reconcile trade confirmations and statements.
   • Monitor corporate actions, such as dividends, mergers, and spin-offs.
2. Cash Management:
   • Manage fund cash balances and ensure sufficient liquidity.
   • Monitor cash flows and reconcile bank statements.
   • Process fund expenses and payments.
3. Performance Reporting:
   • Prepare and analyze fund performance reports.
   • Calculate returns, risk metrics, and other key performance indicators.
   • Respond to client inquiries regarding fund performance.
4. Data Management:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date investment data.
   • Ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems.
   • Assist in the implementation of new systems and processes.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
   • Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
   • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings.
   • Monitor changes in regulations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in investment operations or a similar role.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

1. Experience with investment accounting systems (e.g., Advent, Bloomberg AIM).
2. Knowledge of Singapore's regulatory environment.
