Job description

We are looking for an investment professional with investment finance skills together with accounting knowledge pertaining to the Real Estate industry.

JOB SCOPE

Corporate:

  • Manage and further develop business management systems including budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
  • Assist senior management with financial and commercial matters as required.
  • Manage key external financial relationships including debt providers as required.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the CEO including business and personal.

Investments:

  • Assist in the set up and management of project cashflow systems as required.
  • Monitor project expenditures and manage partner audits of projects as required.
  • Provide direct support to project teams to assist managing and controlling costs and budgets.
  • Performance of high-level analyses for prospective new investments including general situational and specific sector assessment in Singapore and overseas jurisdictions.
  • Conduct both macro and micro market research and run financial modelling on the potential investment opportunities.
  • Analyse and prepare acquisition proposals for submission to the investment committee and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the execution of investment transactions including supporting and managing the process from discussion to submission of Terms Sheets, to due diligence process, to negotiation of deals and transaction completion.
  • Undertake intermittent valuation and analysis of existing assets to optimize value.
  • Assume leadership of specific projects and activities.
  • Provide support to investment committee.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant financial and/or accounting discipline.
  • Preferably with 6 years’ financial investment experience in the Real Estate industry.
  • Well-developed financial and analytical skills with a capacity to summarize key drivers for effective presentations.
  • Understanding of various regional fiscal regimes and typical legal and commercial agreements related to the Real Estate industry.
  • Strong technical skills such as financial modelling, valuation and due diligence.
  • Excellent professional judgment with a capacity for independent and structured thought.
  • Able to demonstrate true leadership abilities, lead teams as well as be able to work independently.
  • Highest level of integrity.
  • Ability to travel when required.
